Skjoldmark insures $1.8B of cargo a year, and every cracked screen or crushed carton tells us something about how goods are handled between depots. Independent Parcel Inspectors see it first-hand. You receive test parcels at home, work through a fixed checklist, record what you find and forward the parcel on. Remote, part-time, paid monthly.
The routine is simple and repeatable. A carrier drops a test parcel at your address. You examine the outer packaging first, then the contents, working line by line through the checklist in the Skjoldmark inspector app. Every observation is photographed and logged there: a scuffed corner, damp cardboard, a broken seal, an item that should be in the box and is not. Damage or tampering gets a flag, and the claims team sees it that day. Once the record is complete you repack the goods to our standard and send them on to whatever address the instructions give. Now and then a claims handler books a short video call to go through a case with you.
Pay, hours, kit and location
- $4,100 per month, with a performance bonus on top
- Remote, anywhere in the United States; parcels are routed to wherever you live
- Part-time, with hours that flex around delivery windows
- No special kit beyond a smartphone and the inspector app
Who this suits
- A US resident aged 21 or over with a fixed home address; a background check is part of onboarding
- A phone with a good camera and an internet connection that does not drop out
- Someone who notices a dented corner and can comfortably lift 40 lb
